To decarboxylate your cannabis, simply bake it in an oven at 230 degrees Fahrenheit for about 40 minutes. Once your cannabis is decarboxylated, it is time to begin making the butter.

In a large pot, melt some butter on medium heat. Add water to the pot, and then add your ground cannabis. Stir well, and then cover the pot with a lid. Let the mixture simmer for about 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.

After 45 minutes, remove the lid and continue to simmer until the water has evaporated. Once the water is gone, turn off the heat and let the mixture cool. Once it is cooled, pour it through a cheesecloth into a jar or container. Congratulations, you have now made cannabis butter! Store it in the fridge to let it cool and enjoy it in your favorite recipes.
